Counselling for Women · Winnipeg & Across Canada
If you found your way here, something has shifted. Maybe you don't recognise yourself lately. Maybe you're exhausted from carrying everyone else while quietly wondering — what about me?
You're in the right place.
You might be feeling
"I don't feel like myself anymore."
"I'm exhausted from being the one everyone relies on."
"My emotions feel bigger than they should."
"There's this brain fog I can't shake."
"I keep waking up at 3am and I don't know why."
"I'm holding it together — but just barely."
About Daisy
I'm Daisy Perez — a counsellor based in Winnipeg, MB, working with women who are navigating some of the most disorienting transitions of their lives.
I hold an Applied Counselling Certification from the University of Manitoba. But more than credentials, what I bring to our work is genuine curiosity about you — your history, your body, your relationships, your particular way of moving through the world.
In our sessions, there's space for rage, laughter, and everything in between. I'm warm and collaborative, but I'm also practical. We're not just talking — we're untangling things together so you can move forward with more clarity, steadiness, and trust in yourself.
From the women I work with
"Daisy helped me navigate a difficult time. I couldn't have done it without her. She allowed me to talk about things that I wasn't comfortable talking with anyone else. And that made all the difference."
— Tracy, Winnipeg"For the first time in years, I feel like I understand what's happening to me — and that I'm not going crazy."
— Client, Online Session"Daisy helped me stop white-knuckling through my days. I didn't know how much I needed someone in my corner."
— Client, WinnipegWho I Help
I specialise in supporting women through the experiences that often go unnamed, minimised, or over-medicalised.
The mood swings, brain fog, insomnia, hot flashes — and the existential weight of entering a new phase of life. You deserve specialised support, not just a prescription. I help you tend to the emotional, relational, and physical dimensions of this transition.
"I'm not who I used to be." That feeling isn't something to fix — it's something to understand. We'll make sense of who you're becoming.
Anxiety, sadness, rage that comes out of nowhere. The exhaustion of being the family manager, the caretaker, the one who holds it all together. Let's look at what's underneath.
Shifting dynamics with partners, family, and yourself. How to ask for what you need — and what to do when the people around you don't understand what you're going through.
Changes in desire, connection, and how to talk to your partner and your doctor about what's happening. This is important — and it belongs in the conversation.
Your physiology, emotions, and experiences are unique. Together we'll build a care plan that honours all of you — and explore what additional support might help.
My Approach
I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), somatic interventions, and psychoeducation — but the honest answer is: we'll use what works for you.
My goal is never to tell you what to do. It's to help you understand what's happening inside you so you can make choices that feel right for your life.
I'm also not your only resource. When it makes sense, we'll talk about other providers — whether that's your GP, a naturopath, a nutritionist, or someone else who can support what we're doing together.
"Your mind, body, and spirit are all in a rather bumpy transition to your next stage of life. That's what this is. You are not broken."— Daisy Perez
